The X-Dome tents are very simple and intuitive to pitch, but there are best practices and some interesting variations, so we recommend watching our pitching guide video below. There are also written instructions, but the video is the most helpful.

Basic Pitch:
1) Lay out the fly.
2) Assemble the pole set
3) Insert the poleset into the metal tabs at all four corners and at the crossbar ends. Then connect the rest of the fly clips to the poles.
4) Lay out the interior with the wider end of the floor to the left (on the 1+ model), join the interior to the pole set at the 4 corners by putting the metal tabs on the pole tips. Then clip all the buckles to join the inner tent to the fly.

Inner First Pitch
If you have already pitched the fly and now want to expose the inner, you can unclip the fly, roll the fly back as desired, and buckle the inner around the pole set instead.

If you are starting from nothing and want to pitch just the inner tent:
1) Lay out the inner tent
2) Assemble the pole set
3) Insert the pole set into the metal tabs at all four corners and the crossbar ends, then loop all the buckles around the poles and connect.

If you later want to add the fly, disconnect the buckles joining the inner tent to the poles while leaving the inner tent connected at the 4 corners. Then lay the fly over top of the inner tent and clip it to the poles instead. Lastly, clip the inner to the fly.
